AUTHOR GUIDELINES
- Article Structure
All submissions must be prepared according to the following sequence:
- Title in English
- Abstract in English
- Keywords in English (4-5 words)
- Title in Turkish
- Abstract in Turkish (Öz)
- Keywords in Turkish (Anahtar Kelimeler, 4-5 words)
- Main Text
- Conclusion
- References
- Formatting Rules
- Title: 12 pt, Garamond, Bold, UPPERCASE.
- English Title: 12 pt, Garamond, Italic, (The First Letters Should Be Capitalized)
- Subheadings: 12 pt, Garamond, Bold, Title Case.
- Main Text: 12 pt, Garamond, justified.
- Arabic/Persian Quotations: 11 pt, Calibri (Body).
- Page Layout: A4, The margin settings must be 4 cm at the top and 3 cm on the other sides.
- Footnotes: Use the * symbol for explanatory notes on the title.
- Headers/Footers: Not allowed.
- Page Numbers: Not to be included.
- Abstract and Keywords
- The abstract must be 150-200 words, clearly outlining the research problem, methodology, findings, and contribution. Calibri 10 pt.
- Provide 4-5 keywords that reflect the content of the article.
- Language of Submission
- Manuscripts may be submitted in Turkish or English.
- Submissions in other scholarly languages (Arabic, Persian, Ottoman Turkish, Greek, or Latin) are accepted only if accompanied by translations into Turkish or English. Footnotes should be in Garamond Regular 10 pt. The length of the article at the time of submission must not exceed 15,000 words, excluding the Abstract and References.
- References and Citations
- Follow the Chicago Manual of Style (17th edition), author-date or notes and bibliography format.
- Ensure consistency across in-text citations, footnotes, and bibliography.
- Figures, Tables, and Illustrations
- Tables: must be titled (Table 1, Table 2, …) and referenced in the text.
- Figures and Images: must include captions (Figure 1, Figure 2, …) and indicate the source.
- High-resolution images (minimum 300 dpi) should be submitted separately.
- Submission Policy
- Articles must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
- Each manuscript will be subject to double-blind peer review.
- Authors are responsible for obtaining copyright permissions for any material used.
- Ethical Principles
- Compliance with academic integrity and research ethics is mandatory.
- Submissions must follow the ethical guidelines of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).
NOTE: When uploading the article, the plagiarism report must also be added to the system as a complete file. The similarity rate must not exceed 20%.
